The fuel economy rating has been announced for the model Fiat 500e. The company has made sure to officially announce the EPA rating of the model this year. The car that has been a successful brand name for the company has received an EPA rating of 122 MPGe in the city, 108 MPGe in the highway and a combined EPA of 116 MPGe.

The rating has been observed to be a bit less that the model by Honda, known as the Honda Fit EV. The customers and the analysts are expecting that the running cost of the car annually will sum up to about $500. This is based on the assumption that the car is running an average distance of 15, 000 miles in a year.

The power to run the car is derived from the 24 kWh battery of Lithium ion. This shows that the car runs on an electric motor engine. This engine produces a total output of 111bhp. It produces a torque of 147 lb-ft. the car runs at a maximum speed of 85 mph. when fully charges it can travel with to up to 87 miles. The car is expected to go for sale this spring in the US and the price is going to be announced when it is launched.
