The new Variant of the Volkswagen Golf was showcased in the Geneva International Motor Show in 2013. VW is extending its’ line of the popular compact, now including an estate car to the existing lineup. The Golf is a classic hatchback and it is extremely good looking as well. The new Golf is lighter than the older variant and it comes with a lot of performance and exterior changes as well.

The Volkswagen Golf new variant is capable of providing around 85 bps of power and comes with a fuel efficient engine. The TDI Bluemotion engine comes mated with a 6 speed gearbox as well. It only uses around 3.3 liters per 100 km travelled. The boot volume of the car has been increased and the size of the cabin has been extended by a small measure. The Golf is not a bad looking car either- it is actually quite a sporty looking hatchback which is capable of turning heads. The estate car is designed with some clearly defined lines and amazing curves. The waist line of the car and the high wheel arches are particularly good looking as well. The sillhouette of the car looks much longer and more elegant after the reboot. There is an optional roof- rail on the car as well. From the rear, the car looks almost exactly like its older variant. It is made up of two part tail lights, the boot lid and the back bumper.

The Volkswagen Golf comes with a number of features such as dual front airbags, power windows in the front and the back, rigid body chassis, daytime running lights, electronic stabilization, height adjustable driver seats, air conditioning, tyre pressure monitor and indicator, dust and pollen filter, touchscreen with a 5 inch display, cnetral locking, etc.. All of these are premium features that make the car more comfortable to ride and be ridden around in.
