Mazda has revamped the world’s top selling two seater sports car and brought out a limited edition for sale in UK this summer. The first thing that strikes about this car are the hues that it is painted in – Aquatic Blue Mica, Zeal Red Mica or Aluminium Silver Metallic. That along with a ‘Meteor Grey’ retractable hard top roof create a combination that gives the car a distinguished look. The car gets its power from one of the two options available – the vigorous 126 ps, 1.8 litre engine or the sporty 160 ps, 2.0 litre engine. The car’s appeal is accentuated by 17 inch dark gunmetal alloy wheels. The stunning design continues as one steps into the interiors of this car. It has black leather wrapped seats that comes with heating facilities. The leather is stitched in a unique grey thread. The car has a 5.8 inch touchscreen display that opens the world of the proprietary TomTom navigation system. The console comes with integrated Bluetooth hands free kit.

The features of the car never stop impressing. It has stainless steel scuff plates, body colored door handles, safety features in the form of airbags, CD radio with Aux connectivity and mated to six speakers, electric adjustable mirrors with heating function, electric windows and climate control air conditioning. Handling of this car is made easy with the in built Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control System (TCS). The Roadster Coupe variant comes with a Limited Slip Differential (LSD), auto-dimming rear view mirror, cruise control and the state of the art Bilstein suspension.

Mazda has adopted a marketing strategy for this model. The first customer to buy this car from any Mazda dealer will get a signed painting of the car done in graphite by the renowned hyperrealist Scottish artist Paul Cadden. It is a prized possession for those who are aware of his uncanny ability to recreate visuals using graphite pencils.
