The 2014 Ram 2500 Heavy Duty truck derives inspiration from the previous Ram trucks that have already proved themselves to be engineering wonders. The new model is a unique blend of power and strength that uses the best from the past while adding features on its own. You can also take it out for a casual drive and experience smooth handling and ride capabilities. The power of this truck comes from a 5.7 liter HEMI® V8 engine. The engine is capable of producing 383 horse power and 400 lb ft of torque. The workhorse truck is capable of a towing capacity of 18,300 lbs.

The rear suspension system has been overhauled completely and now offers a smoother ride than ever before. The engineers have replaced the coil spring with an air suspension unit to achieve this. All these changes have not deteriorated the performance of the truck in any way. Thanks to the new system, the truck can now detect the extra load on the rear axle and automatically optimize the air pressure in the enhanced suspension system in order to level the truck thereby improving the stability of the vehicle and increasing the comfort factor associated with the ride.

The truck, as mentioned earlier is an engineering wonder. It introduces the variable air intake technique. In the event of the exterior temperature rising, the variable air intake system absorbs cooler air from the front of the vehicle. It does the same at high altitudes to enhance the throttle response. On the exterior the truck looks rugged. LED taillights have been added to increase the elegance of the design. The interiors have undergone significant changes too. There are bucket seats now with several adjustment options, including the one that allows you to add a ventilation option to each.
