The 2014 RAM Cargo Van has finally been released. The car does not involve any major changes as compared to its predecessor. It only brings minor tweaks to the table but impresses all the same.

The power of this car is generated exclusively by a V6 3.6-liter Pentastar engine. The engine is capable of producing a peak of 283 bhp (211 kW) and a maximum of 260 lb ft (352 Nm) of torque. The engine will be mated to a six speed automatic transmission gearbox. The mileage of this car is endearing. While on automatic transmission, the mileage that has been promised on the specifications sheet is an enviable 26 mpg US (31.2 mpg UK or 9 liters / 100 km) when driven on the highway. The van does what it is primarily built for the best. Manufactured to carry loads, the RAM Cargo Van has a maximum towing capability of 3,600 lbs (or 1,632 kg) and a 1,800 lbs (or 816 kg) payload.

The interiors carry a touch of good finishing and standard equipment. The exteriors do not fail to impress either with the 17 inch steel wheels. The features that one can expect in this car are the dual zone temperature control, commercial duty suspension, liftgate floodlamp, power front windows and locks and heated and power folding mirrors. Safety features have been included in the car as well. Notable among them are the electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring warning lamp, multi-stage front airbags and driver-side inflatable knee bolster air bag and keyless entry with immobilizer.

The car will be available in three variants based on the different flooring options. One of them will have a high-capacity flat and uninterrupted surface. The other option provides through the floor access to three storage bins, while the third flooring option deletes the load floor to accommodate upfits.
