Tata Motors has released the Tuff Truck concept officially at the National 4×4 & Outdoors Show being organized in Australia.

The concept has been developed in collaboration with the Australian distributor named Fusion Automotive. The Tuff Truck was the brainchild of Julian Quincey who holds the position of the chief designer at the reputed Holden Special Vehicles (HSV).

The concept is highly inspired by the Xenon. The notable exterior features include an aggressively designed front bumper equipped with LED daytime running lights. We also have winch and tow hooks. The Tuff Truck Concept also comes with an LED light bar, 20 inch elegant billet aluminum wheels and a snorkel. The billet aluminum wheels are shod in off road tires.

No information has been released yet about the powertrain to be used in the vehicle. However, if the design is anything to go by, it too will be inspired by that of Xenon. The Xenon boasts a 2.2 liter turbo diesel engine that can generate a maximum power output of 150 HP (or 110 kW) and a peak torque of 320 Nm (or 236 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a five speed manual transmission gearbox and a shift on the fly four wheel drive system.
