Toyota has launched the Vitz GRMN Turbo for the Japanese market. It was first seen as a concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon. The production model of the Vitz is a hatchback with three doors. The exteriors are characterized by a loud front bumper, revamped side skirts and a large rear diffuser. To add a touch of grace to the car, Toyota has added LED headlights, a sports exhaust system, the elegant GRMN badge and 17 inch BBS aluminum wheels. The hatchback will be available in two color options, namely, Black Mica and Super White II.

Nothing much has changed in the interiors. The only notable ones are the inclusion of sports seats, an all new instrumentation display and a revised three spoke steering wheel whose stitching has been done in red. The car has also received special edition floor mats and alloy pedals.

The power is derived from the 1.5 liter engine used in conjunction with a turbocharger. The engine is mated to a five speed manual transmission gearbox. The combination generates a total power output of 152 HP (or 112 kW) and the maximum torque generated is 206 Nm (or 151 lb-ft). Rounding out the changes are a sport-tuned suspension and high-performance brakes. The base price of the car will be ¥2,700,000 (or $27,910 / €20,985 / £18,015). Only 200 units will be produced for a start.
