Audi has developed the Nanuk Quattro concept in cooperation with Italdesign Giugiaro. It is a sports car that is as much at home at a racetrack as on normal or even off road driving conditions. This two seater car is powered by a 5.0 liter diesel engine. it produces a maximum power of 400 kW and delivers a maximum torque of 1000 Nm. The Audi valvelift system controls its twin turbo register charging unit. A seven speed S tronic system and a specially designed Quattro drivetrain make this car a powerful one indeed. It takes a mere 3.8 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph and has a top speed of 305 kmph. The car comes with an innovative thermal cooling system. it regulates the oil pump so that the car consumes only 7.8 liters for 100 kms.

The Audi Nanuk Quattro comes with double wishbone suspension. Carbon fiber ceramic brake discs have been specially designed to withstand abrasion and a high degree of heat. One of the groundbreaking technologies incorporated in this car is the adaptive air suspension with electronically controlled dampers which allows the driver to manually adjust the ground clearance of the car in three stages. The level of the body is also controlled based on the driving speed and predictive route data which is supplied by the navigation system.

The integral steering has helped to achieve a fine balance between maneuverability and stability of the car. The exterior design is angular and aggressive emphasized by the flat hexagonal single frame grille. The design of the interior is completely focused on the driver and all clutter has been removed. The car has freely programmable instrument cluster. Two small monitors at the A pillar serve as rearview mirrors as they display images from the door mounted rearview cameras.
