Chevrolet have presented its Camaro Convertible model at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show. Emphasis has been placed on the aerodynamic design in this new model so that it can provide even better stability and cooling at high speed. The functional hood vent, sculptured deck lid, horizontal lamps and spoiler with integrated antenna complete the exterior look. The front fascia comes with a wide lower grille and a narrow upper grille.

The car is powered by a 6.2l V8 engine. when it is mated with six speed manual transmission, it delivers a power of 432 hp and a maximum torque of 569 Nm. The car takes only 5.4 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph. There is also an option of automatic transmission. This comes with active fuel management and cam phasing.

The interior of the car have been redesigned to ensure a more pampered riding experience. Remote keyless entry is standard in all models while you can opt for remote engine start in the automatic variant of the car. The new color heads up display grabs the attention and is one of the designing highlights of the car. The car comes with Chevrolet MyLink connected radio where you can use Bluetooth, aux-in or USB to integrate with your Smartphone. The high resolution seven inch screen is a full color touch screen with an easy and clean display of icons. You can also opt to purchase the integrated navigation system that covers whole of Europe. The convertible also comes with a rearview camera as standard.

The new convertible starts from €44990 in Germany. This makes it one of the most cost effective muscle cars on road. The model will be available from selected dealerships by the end of 2013 and customers are eagerly waiting for this ultimate performance oriented car.
