2014 Ford S MAX Concept takes SAV to the next level

Ford came out with its SAV or Sports Activity Vehicle in 2005 and the popularity of this has led them to come out with more refined ideas. The new S Max concept takes this designing idea to the next level with sharper designs and more advanced technology. The new concept embodies the design language of Ford in its high mounted grille, swept back headlamps and the redesigned lower fascia where the design elements appear to float above the spoiler. The car has a sleek and aerodynamic silhouette as the bonnet flows effortlessly in to the windscreen and then to the roof which comes with a unique glass roof graphic.

The interior is no less versatile, giving a configuration for four to seven passengers. The driver occupies the center of attention in the front cabin. The instrument panel is set high in such a way that the console is cut back. The result is an unprecedented feeling of spaciousness. This is coupled with a redesigned roof and sculpted doors so that the spaciousness of the car has increased markedly. Touch of class is provided by the premium material used in the interior design language like the ultra soft leather wrap for the instrument panel and leather and carbon fiber detailing for the sculpted seats.

The Ford sync system provides a high degree of connectivity. It comes with MyFord Touch which offers wireless internet connection. Even rear passengers can integrate theur system with the vehicle, courtesy of a tablet docking station. With this you can even voice control apps from a growing number of service providers.

The third row seats come in thin seat technology so that they can be lowered or raised in a single motion. In addition, the Ford S Max concept will include several cutting edge features like car to car communication, Intelligent Protection system, Active park assist, ECG, Heart rate and glucose level monitoring etc.
