Saab has officially unveiled the all new 9-3 Aero model which is slated for 2014 launch. The car looks virtually identical to the face lift 9-3 that was introduced in the year 2001. Despite all the similarities the model lacks the distinctive griffin logos which are controlled by scania and saab group. The car engine is turbocharged with 2.0 liter engine that produces an output power of 220 horse power or 162 kilowatt. The car can be connected to manual as well as automatic transmission. Experts believe the car looks impressive and will able to satisfy many car followers.

According to National Electric Vehicle President Mattias Bergman “It is truly a complex mission to start a car production process which has been still for two and a half years. It is very pleasing that we have embarked on a journey where we want to and will make a difference with our partners and customers. Our electric car will be launched next year, and already today we can offer Saab cars with continued high, proven performance and quality”. The 9-3 Aero will be available on the market from December 10th and the price starts from 279,000 SEK which is around 42,880 US dollars / 31,510 Euros / 26,125 pounds.
