Cadillac has revealed the price of the 2015 Escalade as the vehicle goes on sale this spring. The Escalade will be priced at US$ 71,695 which is excluding a destination and handling fee. The vehicle is in close competition with the Lincoln Navigator and Infinity QX80 and costs thousands more than them.

The vehicle gives a power output of 420 hp provided by a 6.2 liter V8 engine and gives 460 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated with a six speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional four wheel drive system.

The luxury SUV has a spacious cabin with leather upholstery, wood trim and heated/ cooled front seats along with features such as a digital instrument cluster, a CUE infotainment system and a Bose audio system. In exterior features, the Escalade sports LED headlights, a hands free tailgate and 20 inch aluminium wheels and have features like the rear view camera, park assist and Magnetic Ride Control.
With the outgoing Cadillac Escalade being one of the most stolen vehicles, GM has ensured the new Escalade has upgraded security features. Therefore, it now contains an intrusion sensor, an inclination sensor and glass breakage sensors. In technology for this aspect, the standard feature of GM’s OnStar system with Stolen Vehicle Assisstance is provided.
