Jaguar XKR Final Fifty Edition 1 2015 Jaguar XK ends with ‘Final Fifty’

British car makers Jaguar have taken the decision to end the production of their XK series of Gran tourer cars. 2014 is the last year of its production. To mark this important moment and to celebrate the successful run of the series, the company has launched Jaguar XK Final Fifty Edition at the auto show in New York. This special edition will only be sold in the United State. Just like its name, only 50 units of the Final Fifty Edition will be available- 25 convertibles and 25 coupes. This can be seen as kind of a tribute to the Jaguar E-Type that had 5o special edition units made before its production ended.

The car will have a black exterior, forged 20 inch wheels and optional exterior features like side skirts, rear diffuser and wing. The cabin is almost same as the regular edition but has performance seats, suede covered steering wheel and special sill plates for the doors. The car will boast a powerful Bowers & Wilkins audio system. Jaguar XK Final Fifty Edition will be powered by a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 engine that can produce an impressive 510 hp (380 kW) and torque of 461 lb-ft (624 Nm) of torque.
