The famous French Car makers Citroen has always been known for its innovativeness. It regularly comes out with unique concept cars. At last year’s Frankfurt Auto Show Citroen presented its Cactus concept and received praise. At the prestigious 2014 auto show in Geneva, Citroen introduced the production version of the car, the 2015 Citroen C4 Cactus. It has retained most of what made the concept so highly acclaimed. Customer perception, and demands in the field of automobiles has been changing in recent years. Citroen wants to keep up this change and the new car was built while keeping this spirit intact.

Exterior/ Interior

The ultra lightweight Citroen C4 Cactus looks to replace tradition hatchbacks in the near future. The car is 200 kg ( 441 lbs) lighter than the concept model. It is 4,160mm long, has a width of 1,730mm and a height of 1,480mm tall with 2,600mm wheelbase. There are 10 attractive body colors available for this car. Polycarbonate Memory skin or TPU has been used to design this car. the car has a smooth rounded nose front and powerful LED lights with daytime running lamps. Buyers can also opt for full length glass-roof. Al together the car looks visually attractive.

The interior has good storage space. The cabin is given plastic cladding. The seats are is sofa like bench seat. Also there is metallic accents, gloss black trim and leather door handles. You can chose one color out of three options for the door trim, dashboard and seats. A seven inch touch screen has replaced conventional buttons and you can access all the essential functions like AC, navigation, media with it.

Engine/ Features

The engine of the C4 Cactus will most likely be a 3-cylinder PureTech turbo petrol engine with a power output of 110 horsepower. The car is also high on safety features with Parking assist and camera, airbags in roof, hill start assist etc.
