Nissan has introduced the Skyline 200GT-t in Japan which is set to go on sale from 5th June. The model comes with a turbocharged 2.0 liter four cylinder engine that has been sourced from Mercedes. It develops a maximum power of 211 PS and delivers a maximum torque of 250 Nm. It is a fuel efficient lightweight turbocharged gasoline engine. The engine has been designed to reduce emission while delivering an exhilarating driving experience. The engine is mated with automatic transmission with close gear ratios. Excellent transmission and smooth and seamless acceleration is the hallmark of the model.

Excellent fuel economy has been achieved by the various innovative features incorporated in the Skyline 200GT-t. These include the Idling Stop, direct-injection, variable valve timing, electro-hydraulic power steering and charging control. The model delivers a mileage of 13.6 kmpl which is a 20% improvement on the previous generation of Skyline. The emissions have also been markedly reduced. Emissions of NOX and NMHC (non methane hydrocarbons) have been reduced by 75%.

The electro hydraulic power steering delivers exhilarating driving experience. Newly developed rear suspension offers enhanced driving experience. The electronic control and oil hydraulic pump pressure is adjusted to change the steering effort. The electrically controlled pump reduces the engine load. This also contributes to the fuel economy. Direct adaptive steering is offered as a factory installed version. The Drive mode selector offers customized driving. It offers 12 variations in personal modes and 96 variations in the hybrid version. So, you can choose your personalized driving settings.

The Skyline 200GT-t comes with the largest in class luggage capacity of 500 liters. The rear seat center armrest comes with a pass through feature in all grades while the rear folding seat is adopted as a factory installed option for easy carrying of long items.
