UK based niche automobile manufacturer Elemental Motor Company has launched a race track oriented yet street legal car. The new car is called the ‘Elemental RP1’ and it will make its official debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed in UK. The car has a design inspired by modern race cars and looks more at place in a track than on city road. But the customers who are looking for some dose of speed in their daily lives will surely love it. This new car is very light weight, weighing only 450 Kg thanks to its carbon and aluminum based body.

The manufacturer is offering three engine options for this car. The main engine is a 2.0 liter four cylinder Ford Ecoboost engine which can create 280 horsepower. There is also another option of a 1.0 liter Ford Ecoboost engine. The third option is a 999cc Honda Fireblade engine which is actually an engine for motorcycles. All three engines are mated with a six speed Hewland paddle shift sequential transmission. The same transmission is used in Formula three race cars. To give this car better handling, a double wishbone suspension with Nitron dampers and Eibach springs have been used. the car will be available for purchase in 2015.
