During the recently held Ferrari Cavalcade driving tour in Italy, a special version of the F12 Berlinetta was revealed. Created by Ferrari’s special projects division, this open top model has been given the name, ‘F12 TRS’. Only one unit of this coupe turned roadster model will be created. The TRS actually comes from the ‘Terra Rossa’ the 1957 car that is the actual inspiration behind this car. It is more aggressive looking than a regular F12 and has a window lid over the front bonnet that reveals the red cylinder heads of the engine. The black wraparound windscreen creates a nice contrast with the cars red body.

The rear of the car has been given T shaped graphic and smooth ramp. The open cabin has been put together with Alcantara, carbon fiber and leather. But some items like the audio control buttons, central air vents, glove box and carpeting has been removed to keep the interior minimalistic. Contrary to early reports, there is no hybrid powertrain in this car. The Ferrari ‘F12 TRS’ runs on a 6.2liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that can create mind boggling 740 PS and torque of 509 lb-ft. The top speed is 211mph and acceleration is o to 62mph in 3.1 seconds.
