Ford Fiesta Red and Black Edition Ford Launches Stunning 2015 Limited Edition Fiesta

The highly popular subcompact car ‘Fiesta’ was launched by Ford in the year 1976. In the year 2010 the car’s 16th generation (Mark VI) was launched. Ford has manufactured and sold this car in many countries of Europe and South America. Total worldwide sales have crossed 16 millions, making the car one of the highest selling Ford models of all time. In 2014, the model was given a facelift and featured a new engine and features. Already this new edition has won critical acclaim and is considered among the best cars in its segment. It is no mean feat as it has to compete against rivals like Volkswagen Polo and Renault Clio. On top of its success Ford has decided to launch two limited editions of the 2014 model, ‘The Ford Fiesta Zetec S Red and Black Editions.’

Ford Europe’s vehicle personalization chief designer, John McLoed has said, “The more provocative car is the Black Edition- its red detailing and the grille surround deliver a high contrast for drivers that want to be noticed. The Red Edition car is highly expressive yet a little more subtle for the less exuberant owner.” The Red Edition has red body paint while the mirror caps, roof and grille is in contrasting black. The Black Edition is simply the opposite , with black body paint and red contrasts. Both editions have got the 16-inch black alloys (optional 17-inch available), a sports body kit and tuned suspension. Inside, the premium leather upholstery is made visually more attractive with red stitching.

Ford have used a more powerful version of its famous EcoBoost 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine. the company had claimed that the new engine provides more power-per-liter than super cars like Ferrari 458 Speciale and Bugatti Veyron. The power has been increased to 140 PS /103 kW. The top speed is 201 km/h /125 mph and acceleration is 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 9 seconds.
