The France based Peugeot brand started as a coffee mill company in 1810 and became bi-cycle manufacturer in 1830. It was in 1896 that the company officially became a car manufacturer. At present the brand is a part of the PSA Peugeot Citroën group, Europe’s second largest and world’s ninth largest automaker. Peugeot introduced the large family car, the ‘508’ in 2010. It was made like a grand tourer, perfect for a long trip. The ‘508’ was important because it replaced not one but two Peugeot models, officially the 407 and unofficially the 607 as well. Since its release, the car has received praise for critics and also had good sales. At the 2011 Motor Show in Frankfurt, the company had revealed a hybrid station wagon version of the ‘508’, known as the ‘RXH’. Now for the year 2015, Peugeot has taken the wraps of the restyled ‘2015 Peugeot 508 RXH’. A new sedan version is also being released. These changes also embody the ‘three claws’ style that Peugeot has begun to use increasingly in its cars to create a distinct identity.

The quest of becoming a more up-market car continues on the inside of the new ‘Peugeot 508 RXH’. Top quality materials have been used so that the car looks premium but not ostentatious. The new instrument panel is very richly and intelligently styled with almost watch making precision. It is accompanied by a Head-Up Display, showing all the necessary driving and navigation information in color. The unit is style as a retractable smoked blade. The dash of the car is fitted with a new 7 inch touch screen display. As a result, there are fewer buttons than before in the panel.
