South American car maker Kia Motors has given a modest makeover to their popular car ‘Soul’ for the 2015 model year. In 2014, the ‘Soul’ had received a complete makeover. The 2014 model is still on sale and now a new version enters the new model year with some improvements.

Among the additions there is a new UVO1 eServices Package. The package has no less than four new features- Geo-fencing, Curfew Alert, Speed alert and Driving Score2. This new kit will come standard on the Plus variant and also on the Exclaim variant with few extra features like live traffic and weather information, sports scores, fuel prices and even information from the stock market and more.

The top of the range trim level will get either the Cloud White or Fathrom Blue body color along with a new Umber Color Package for the interior that adds seats made of Nappa leather and stylish black inserts for the steering wheel.

The entry level model will be getting the carry over 1.6-liter GDI engine with 130 bhp (97 kW) power and torque of 118 lb-ft (160 Nm). It is mated to a6 speed manual transmission or an optional 6 speed automatic. The upper level model will have a 2.0-liter GDI with 164 bhp (122 kW) power, torque of 205 Nm (151 lb-ft), paired with only a six-speed automatic gearbox.
