South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai launched the city car ‘i10’ in 2007. It turned out to be a very successful car in both Asian and European markets. Especially in India, the car has been very popular, selling in huge numbers. The development of the second generation also took place in India. The second generation was launched in 2013 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. For the Asian market, the company released a slightly modified, larger model known as the ‘Grand i10.’ Now Hyundai has also begun to concentrate on European countries. For German buyers, a special edition of the ‘i10’ was launched recently.

For now, the new variant ‘i10 Sport’ will be sold only in Germany. The car has been given a sharper exterior styling with new side skirts, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and racing styled red-black body graphics. The sporty interior has also been given a red color theme and seats partially made by leathers.

The car will run on 1.2-liter 4 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that can produce 87 PS (64 kW) and torque of 120 Nm (88 lb-ft). The car can accelerate 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 12.3 seconds and has a top speed of 175 km/h (109 mph).
