Japanese manufacturer Subaru is trying its best to stop the dwindling sales of the current model of ‘BRZ’ (rebadged Toyota 86) in Australia. The company has brought out a special version of the model that will bring the buyer more equipment for a lesser price. Subaru has already announced the price for the new ‘Subaru BRZ’ special edition. The delivery of the car will start from November.

The cosmetic changes have made the look of the car much better. However the performance of the car has remained almost the same. The special edition of the ‘BRZ’ now has a stripes package, rear diffuser and 17-inch stylish alloy wheels. Other features are rear spoiler lip, front spoiler in matte black color and side skirts.

Once inside the car, passengers will get extra STI equipment. It includes start button, the short-throw gearshift (manual) and a knob (automatic). Some important changes has also taken place in the under-body, with some revised dampers and handling improvements. The new special edition model is based on the 2015 model year. Power output is still the same from the four-cylinder 2.0 liter boxer engine, 200 hp and torque of 205 Nm. The power is sent to rear wheels with either a six speed manual or a six-speed auto.
