The iconic British car manufacturer Aston Martin (Aston Martin Lagonda ltd.) was founded in 1913 by Robert Bamford and Lionel Martin. The brand is famous for its grand tourers and luxury sports cars. Thanks to its association with the famous James Bond character, the brand became known worldwide. The brand was owned by Ford from 1994 to 2007. Currently it is owned by a consortium of investors. Apart from passenger cars, the brand also has a history of involvement in racing.

One of the most popular models from the brand is the ‘Aston Martin Vanquish’ grand tourer. The model was launched in 2001. It was designed by legendary car designers Dilip Chhabria and Ian Callum. The model was famously featured in the 2002 James bond film ‘Die Another Day’ giving it a kind of cult status. After 2007 it was replaced by the ‘Aston Martin DBS’ for some years. In 2012, the ‘Vanquish’ was revived again. The latest generation features an extensive use of carbon fiber in its body. The carbon fiber based model is available in both convertible and coupe body styles. The new Carbon Edition will come with either a black or white exterior color paired with black window surrounds. Other features include- 10-spoke stylish alloy wheels with attractive glossy black finish and specially built brake-calipers. While changes in the interior are very limited from the regular, it includes- black interior accents, Herringbone carbon fiber trim and a Bang & Olufsen audio system with black grilles for the speaker. Both body styles will be powered by a powerful 6.0-liter V12 engine that can create power of 576 PS (423 kW) and torque of 630 Nm (465 lb-ft). The engine will be paired with an 8-speed auto transmission and it enables the car to go from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds.
