Those who want diesel can go for Ford’s newly launched 1.5-litre TDCi engine also with two power outputs- 120 PS or 95 PS. It also comes with a new ECOnetic version which will deliver a great emission of 99 g/km CO2. Emission are expected to improve than before by almost 20 percent. However, Ford is keeping the earlier engine and new the C-MAX family will still have the acclaimed EcoBoost 1.0-litre petrol engine with 125 PS and 100 PS versions. Ford took this decision keeping in mind the fact that so far in 2014, most C-MAX models have sold with the 1.0-litre engine, which also became ‘International Engine of the Year’ for the third time in a row.
