South Korean car maker Kia first brought out the smaller MPV ‘Venga’, in 2009. The model carried Kia’s ‘tiger nose’ corporate grille that was designed by the head designer of Kia, Peter Schreyer. After launch it won several design awards. For the 2015 model year, Kia will be launching a face lifted version of the ‘Venga’ as it also denotes the fifth anniversary of the model. While the official debut is scheduled for the 2014 Paris Motor show, Kia has revealed the details and images of the new version. The new model will go for sale in mid 2015. Kia’s COO of Europe Michael Cole has said that the model will continue to have the performance and reliability of the original model and at the same time a refreshing appearance.

From the photos it can be seen that Kia has made the tiger nose front grille larger than before and has also repositioned the brand logo which now lies on the car’s hood. The lower portion of the front grille has also been redesigned with LED daytime lights. At the rear, a horizontal chrome based trim has been used to connecting the LED based taillights. The new ‘Venga’ will also have 16 or 17 inch alloy wheels with new designs being offered.

Inside of the car has also seen some changes. The compact sized MPV has been given metal trim of dark shade and bright accents. The fascia of central stack is also new and there are two new trims for the seat. With the face lifted model optional heated steering wheel will also be available. Also available is a new infotainment system with audio & video navigation that works through a 7 inch screen that also supports a rearview camera.

The engine options have been carried over will depend on the region where the car being sold. There are a total of six petrl and diesel units with 1.4- and 1.6-liter capacity. The power output ranges between 77 HP and 128 HP .
