The mighty RCZ R Bimota special edition is the result of Peugeot’s collaboration with Bimota, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer. This brand new model caught the attention of car enthusiasts at Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy.
The THP petrol turbo 1.6-liter engine has an all-new blow-off valve for the turbo. It is also equipped with a remapped ECU and a new exhaust system. Armed with such top-notch technology, the engine produces 304 HP. As for the standard RCZ R, the output is 273 HP at 6,000 rpm. The improved braking system has 380 mm front brakes.
The interior looks ravishing with the classic Alcantara leather wrapped seats. The cabin has also been given two GoPro cameras, along with TomTom Bridge infotainment system featuring a 7-inch display. The dashboard is adorned with red accents. Also present is a leather wrapped box meant to house two motorcycle helmets, which has been accommodated by removing the rear seats.
In the exterior, the car sports the Bimota three-color racing livery. Another eye catching feature is the black five-spoke alloy wheels. RCZ R Bimota special edition flaunts the PB104 name. PB implies Peugeot and Bimota. Number 1 stands for project number one, while 04 stands for the four wheels.
