Special edition of the Senator SV is based on Senator Signature. Under the hood is present an LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates a whopping 462 HP and the torque output is 570 Nm. The power is delivered to the wheels through the standard six-speed manual gearbox. Another option available, without paying any extra cost, is the six-speed automatic transmission with Active Select and paddle shifters. Also present are Magnetic Ride Control suspension and AP Racing forged four-piston brake calipers. Driver assistance is ensured with Enhanced Driver Interface (EDI) and Driver Preference Dial.

The exterior features distinct looking 20-inch five-spoke SV Rapier forged alloy wheels. These are adorned with Dark Stainless finish along with the grille surround sporting pitch black look. The company has chosen the unique black finish for the mirror caps, door surrounds, fender vents, badging and spoiler too. The four exhaust tips get chrome tips.

The cabin has ‘Senator SV’ sill plates and individually numbered plaque. Onyx leather covers the HSV performance seats. Julian Quincey, Chief of Design & Styling at HSV, reported that the company wanted to introduce styling cues that reinforced the car’s exclusivity and street presence. They were keen on taking the luxury and performance of the Senator Signature and delivering a darker edge to the styling of the vehicle. Features like the EDI start-up screen, an I.D. plate and the branded ‘Senator SV’ sill plates enhance the exclusivity of the car.
