The new Vantage GT3 presented by Aston Martin is one of its most aggressive vehicles. The company will manufacture only 100 units of this vehicle. It is powered by a 6.0 liters V12 engine that generates a power of 600 PS. This Special Edition car is inspired by the GT3. Carbon fiber has been used in large quantities both in the exterior and the interior to reduce the weight of the car. It now weighs 100 kgs less than the standard V12 Vantage S. Vigorous performance is promised by the aerodynamics pack that includes a prominent front splitter complimented by distinct rear wing. This creates significant downforce which improves both the grip and the stability of the vehicle.
In order to improve the performance, every effort has been made to reduce the weight of the car. Features like use of carbon fiber in the front wings, bonnet and door casings, optional use of this element in the roof, the lithium ion battery and the optional use of the polycarbonate rear windows have all been used to eliminate excess weight. As a result, this vehicle weighs only 1565 kgs which has contributed towards the vastly improved performance of the vehicle.
The interior has also been redesigned. The control array is touch sensitive and carbon fiber has been used in the central stack as well as in the sports seat. Apart from this, a number of features can be added at the request of the customer. The Alacantara trim is one of these features.
In fact, this Vantage GT3 is the best example of the fusion of motorsport and the prowess of the road car. The car will become available in the market by the middle of 2015. It promises to deliver the ultimate performance which is the trademark of this company.
