Infiniti and Nissan have unveiled the 2015 Fuga in Japan. The car has already reached the showrooms and is priced at ¥ 4,104,000. The exterior has undergone a significant makeover when compared with the car’s predecessor. This brand new Fuga gets a new front fascia. The redesigned large mesh grille is flanked by LED headlights along with LED daytime running lights. The headlights are sharper looking and distinct. The side features revamped exterior mirrors and integrated turn signals. The body comes in seven colors, including dark metal gray, premium brown and three new shades of dark blue.
Also present is additional chrome trim, new 18-inch aluminum wheels and restyled mirrors accompanied by integrated turn signals. The rear has LED taillights and a revised bumper. The LED lights appear to wrap around the fender. Other features are rear center stop lamp and twin exhausts.
Customers have three options for engine. The 2.5-liter V6 churns out 225 PS and the torque generated is 258 Nm. Another option is the 3.7-liter V6 that gives 333 PS power and 363 Nm torque. The third option is the hybridized V6 3.5-liter which has a combined maximum output equal to 364 PS.
The interior has undergone a few changes. It features a new glove box, additional sound deadening material and enhanced rear seat. The rear seat has VIP specification and has improved holding properties and enhanced comfort as well. The two tone cabin looks elegant. Wood trims are visible throughout the interior. The built-in door mirrors give an improved visibility of the surroundings.
The omnidirectional driving support system includes the PFCW. This facility averts collision even at the speed of 60 km / h and has an emergency brake. Another facility for increased safety of passengers is the MOD – moving object detection function that is present as a standard feature.
