An announcement has been made by Kia that its facelifted Picanto will be showcased in the next Geneva Motor Show, in March.
Official pictures of this car are yet to be released. It will resemble the Morning Facelift which is available in the South Korean market. The version of this car which has been commercialized in Europe will have 14-inch alloy wheels. It also comes with an optional sport compatible which is available for both the three door and five door models of this car.
The interior of this model of Picanto will have chrome accented surroundings for the instrument binnacle and air vents. Another additional feature of this revised version is an upholstery pattern. The center dashboard will also appear modified. Kia’s AVN system consisting of a seven inch touch screen display can be hosted on this dashboard. Other additions to this 2015 version are the cruise control and a speed limiter system. Kia will also be offering new color packs as well for this car.
There will be two options of this facelifted Picanto available, one with large front brakes and one without. These brakes will be larger than the standard size which is 241 mm. This will make it easy for the vehicle to stop even when traveling at 100 km/h. Due to this modification it now takes only 37 meters for the car to stop which is two less than what it was with the previous versions.
The engine of this car has also been modified according to the most recent Euro 6 emissions specifications. This car has a 69 bhp 1.0-liter MPI gasoline engine which is a naturally aspirated engine and has been specifically tailored for this car. This facelifted car will be ready to be delivered by March. The one with the AVN system will be available only in the third quarter of 2015.
