It will be available at European dealerships March onwards. The car runs on 15-inch diamond-effect alloys. The body paint is a riveting Ultramarine Blue.
The special edition comes with a range of engines. The Fire EVO II and Fire EVO II LPG are both 1.2 liter and rated 69 PS. The TwinAir and Methane Turbo TwinAir, both 0.9 liter, generate 85 PS and 80 PS respectively. The fifth option is the Multijet II 1.3 liter that gives 95 PS.
The cabin features a classy steering wheel accompanied by radio controls. Buyers can choose from Castiglio Fabric that is beige coloured or the elegant black. The special edition is equipped with the Blue&Me technology. Radio, CD and MP3 player are present. The manual climate control ensures the comfort of passengers.
As the company says, various activities are being held to make Ypsilon’s 30th birthday special. Bitmama digital agency conceived the initiative ‘YpsilonTellers’ in collaboration with the Italian publishing company Feltrinelli, and Maxus media network also extended their support. All this was done to pay respect to Ypsilon with the testimony of all those people who have loved the car from 1985 till today. March onwards, the platform ‘YpsilonTellers’ will start an online service in which all users will daily have a chance to win shopping vouchers by Feltrinelli. Moreover, the site will feature a literary competition. It will offer writers an excellent opportunity of creating an e-book, printed book or TV format.
The 30th Anniversary has added a new member to the already rich Ypsilon range. This new model lies intermediate between the Elephant series and ELLE- both of which were launched last year.
