The GTA Spano has been launched at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. This is the very first supercar that uses graphene. The production is limited to just 99 units. This brand new model by Spania GTA is equipped with technology that is a significant improvement over its predecessor. The new 7,990 cm3 Twin Turbo V10 engine is all that this supercar needs to deliver an extreme performance. The engine churns out a massive 925 HP power at 6,300 rpm and 1220 Nm of torque. It is accompanied by yet another newly designed master piece- the sequential 7-speed gearbox along with the paddle shift. GTA Spano thus has a completely new powertrain that makes it lightening fast. It takes just 2.9 seconds to sprint from a standstill to 100 km/hr. It can hit the top speed of 370 km/hr.
The fuel tank capacity is 100 liter, while the boot tank capacity amounts to 150 liter. The carbon monocoque chassis is also new and is a unique feature among sportscar makers. GTA Spano has been crafted from materials like graphene and titanium to keep its weight at bay and maintain rigidity at the same time. Graphene has been incorporated into elements like leather, bodywork and chassis. Carbon fiber, titanium, Kevlar and graphene have been utilized for the structural monocoque. While carbon fiber has been employed for the bodywork. The result of this brilliant engineering is the weight being just 1400 kg.
The car has a length of 4.68 m. It stands 1.18 m tall and has a width of 1.98 m. The wheelbase measures 2.8 m. The height of the vehicle is electrically adjustable and the wing is electronically-regulated. The suspension features double wishbone configuration. The multi-shock absorbers are self-adjusting. The ABS system features 6-piston calliper. Yet another feature is the forced ventilation system.
