The interior features stripes and some features have been restyled. The driver is ensured protection by the seat pan that is made of carbon-fiber and is resilient too. The car makers have used high-tensile steel for the roll-over cage. Other new features are the race-specific switchgear, carbon fiber trim and the redesigned steering wheel.
Mercedes hasn’t said much on performance. The company has confirmed that the car will run on an updated version of the V8 6.3 liter engine that powered the SLS AMG GT3 also. It comes with six-speed sequential racing transmission. The double-wishbone suspension has been made entirely of aluminum. A lot of features make it an excellent racing model- low lying center of gravity, wide track width and near perfect weight distribution.
