Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has unveiled two new models. One is the SCG 003S Stradale and the other is the SCG 003C Competizione – that is a race only model.
Both the models have the same chassis made from carbon fiber. They run on V6 twin-turbo engine. The race car is armed with a 3.5 liter engine. It churns out 530 HP power at 6,800 rpm. A torque of 517 lb-ft (700 Nm) is generated at 4,500 rpm. The car comes with a sequential gearbox. The SCG 003C hits the scales at 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg) and the distribution is 49:51. It runs on 18-inch wheels and has double wishbone suspension for both front & rear. The dampers are rocker-operated and KW adjustable. The anti-roll bars are present for both front & rear and are pushrod-operated. Though it is a race only model, it can be fully converted to a road car, as Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus said.
As for the SCG 003S Stradale, it is street oriented. The engine unit is presently under development and the automakers haven’t released any details on its performance. All that is known is the car will run on V6 twin-turbo engine. The company would start delivering this model by the end of 2015.
