Dodge will be giving a bunch of updates to 2015 Durango R/T. The car makers have decided to meet the demands of customers. As Dodge says, the customers were clamoring for a segment-exclusive feature and the wish has been granted with the upgradation on this model. The feature had been wanted since it had been revealed in Durango concept in Mopar display at 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show held in Las Vegas.For the very first time, they would be offering Radar Red Nappa leather as an option for the seats. The seats would be a part of the package Premium Nappa Leather Group that can be had for an extra $1,195. The Premium Nappa Leather Group already has black Nappa leather that covers the steering.
Dodge will give a fresh look to the 20-inch alloy wheels. With the all-new wheels, the updated 2015 Durango R/T will have an appearance that is more performance-oriented as compared to the other models. The monochromatic sporty exterior has black headlamp bezels. The car boasts a tow rating equal to 7,400 pounds that is best-in-class.
The wheels would be made more appealing with Granite Crystal high-gloss finish. Another prominent feature is the front fascia that has low-beam HID headlights. Yet more updates are LED daytime running lamps and a power liftgate has been included as well. The updated car comes with sport-tuned suspension. The ride height has been reduced by 20 mm. Coming to the powertrain, the new 2015 Durango R/T runs on HEMI V8 5.7-liter engine that is rated 360 bhp and 528 Nm.
The interior promises comfort and advanced technology with Uconnect system. It offers 8.4-inch touchscreen and high quality audio – thanks to the subwoofer and nine speakers. The seats with embroidered leather are adorned in contrast stitching that is black or red.
