Concept D has been introduced by Honda at Auto Shanghai 2015. The teaser image of this model had been released in the end of March. It is likely that Concept D is the preview of the only crossover of China. It comes with a dynamic design that is aimed at impressing the youth. The front end looks busy and has a large grille. The vents are massive and the bumper too is large. Daytime running lights featuring LED technology have been incorporated in the form of strips. The slim style of the lights looks futuristic.
Concept D’s side profile too looks bulky. The skirts are oversized and the wheels arches appear to be bulging out. Rather than conventional mirrors, cameras have been installed. The rear of the car has LED taillights in C shape. The spoiler is roof-mounted, while the rear bumper is angular and has large air breathers. The car runs on 21-inch wheels accompanied by 285/45 tires. The body paint is bronze and the door handles are recessed. Honda hasn’t released any details on the powertrain. But chances are high that it would be an electric car since exhaust tip is nowhere to be seen. The company says that this concept is the preview of the SUV that would be sold just in China.
