Tata has not only decided to shed light to the new and advanced Nano GenX ranges with important updates, but also has readied the model up for sale. The design gets many improvements. The front grille gets a redesign, the tailgate spoiler has a new integration and there is an introduction of smoked headlights too. The steering wheel is revamped too as a part of the interior design improvement with easy controlling for tight spots of parking. Also, the interior has now a luggage space of 110L with better should room and legroom. With five different trim levels, it has different mechanical improvements on design too. XE, XM and XT come with a manual gearbox, while XMA, XTA has an automated manual transmission as their special feature.
The best and surely the biggest improvements of this model are the AMT automated gearbox with easy shift technology and the ePAS steering has electric power assistance. The fuel tank’s capacity has been increased to an admirable 24 litre and there have been additions of new interior features to modernize the model. Features such as Bluetooth, USB, first-in-segment digital information display and AUX are now part of the car’s improvement. While the power is still the same, the car now gives a mileage of 4.2 litres for each 100 km.
The engine is a 2 cylinder system with each having a 0.6 litre capacity. Also, the safety measures are enhanced too. The introduction of crumple zone, intrusion beams, anti-roll bars and SUV-like ground clearance means the car has gone through tremendous improvement on all fronts.
