Adding to the world’s already impressive array of muscle cars, the 2017 Audi TT RS Coupe brings a powerful contender to the table, or make that to that important piece of real estate where the rubber meets the asphalt.
Beneath the bonnet of this newly designed sparkling couple you’ll find a newly developed engine, one whose five-cylinders put 400 hp of muscle to work and you not only can feel it but hear it as well when that engine winds out.
First shown this year at the Beijing Motor Show with its husky front end, its oversize air inlets and smooth low spoiler along with a fixed rear wing, this vehicle brought nothing but “Wows” and “Oooh” from visitors to the show.
Even a glance suggests to the viewer that this Audi TT RS isn’t just another car with a decorative new body design. Just a look tells an experienced hand that this five-cylinder all aluminum engine with heaps more power than its previous version, the torque (480 Newton-meters) makes the front and rear wheels step up to the plate while the Audi Coupe’s traction control system keeps acceleration at its maximum without slippage.
With that kind of power under the hood, this baby takes less than 4 seconds to spring from 0 to over 60 mph. Never before has an Audi TT had this kind of sprint power. And that five humming cylinder sound, music to a car-lovers ear is unforgettable as it shoots through the RS exhaust system and explodes into the atmosphere through two large oval tailpipes.
The new 3D headlights, another first for a production Audi. Of course with this kind of power at your fingertips, you’ll want a sturdy stiff chassis and this Audi TT RS Coupe has what it takes, while its direct steering mechanism permits the driver to feel the road as it disappears from beneath him.
This puppy is available as a roadster as well for those who truly love the wind in their hair as they breeze down the highway, and it only needs a touch to take that top down.
The equally impressive and sporty interior is guaranteed not to disappoint, and like a race car, only a touch on the steering wheel starts the Audi TT RS Coupe. All the other useful and/or desirable bells and whistles are available of course, but most of them come installed as part of the package.
If you’re into beautiful, fast and hot muscle cars, you owe it to yourself to check out the new Audi TT RS Coupe for 2017.
